he ThermaCare® Heat Wraps for neck & shoulder are suitable for treating unspecific muscle and joint pain in the neck and shoulder areas. They are not suitable to treat acute inflammation or swelling. The wraps are made by 10 patented heat cells and are ergonomically shaped to perfectly adhere to the skin through two adhesive patches.

Do not open the airtight packaging of the heat wrap until immediately before use. The heat cells start to heat up as soon as they come into contact with oxygen.

Remove the protective film from the heat wrap to expose the 2 adhesive surfaces. Be careful not to touch the adhesive surfaces so as not to reduce the adhesive effect.

Take the heat wrap in both hands so that the tip points upwards, away from you. The adhesive surfaces on the ends of the heat wrap point towards you.

Smooth the heat wrap from the inside out and fix the adhesive surfaces on the skin.

Thanks to its ergonomic shape, the ThermaCare® HeatWrap can be applied precisely to the painful neck and shoulder area. After about 30 minutes of warming up, the heat wrap reaches the therapeutic temperature of approx. 40 °C. This temperature is kept constant for the treatment period. For effective relief of neck and shoulder pain, wear ThermaCare® continuously - for ideal effect, wear the heat wrap for up to 8 hours. If the deep warmth decreases, do not immediately take a new heat wrap.

Do not use the HeatWraps for the neck and shoulder on diseased, injured or damaged skin, on
bruises and swellings or on parts of the body without any sensation of warmth.

PRODUCT INFORMATION

Instructions for use
- The ThermaCare® HeatWraps must never be heated in the microwave, oven or in any other way - risk of fire!
- Up to 55 years of age, you can wear ThermaCare® HeatWraps for larger painful areas at night, because the risk of burns increases with age
- We recommend that you first use ThermaCare® HeatWraps for larger areas of pain during the day to familiarise yourself with the heat application before you decide to use them while asleep. Alternatively, we recommend that you wear a thin piece of clothing under the ThermaCare® HeatWraps if you do not yet know how your body will react to the heat.
- Clinical data have shown that after using ThermaCare® heat wraps at night, you wake up with noticeably less pain and are much more flexible. .
- Medical advice should be sought first before using ThermaCare® HeatWraps during
  pregnancy.
- If you have diabetes, circulatory problems, heart disease or rheumatoid arthritis and want to use ThermaCare® HeatWraps for larger areas of pain, please seek medical advice beforehand.
- Please do not moisten or wash the pad, this makes the heat cells ineffective - normal body perspiration does not affect their functionality. Heavy sweating, for example through sport, could loosen the adhesive.
